I am using linuxcnc and found there is a rather old backend for linuxcnc for gschem, it is all rather is simple it produce a sort of netlist just as gnetlist does although with a different syntax.

Then I think about it would also be rather simple to do something similar as simulink for discrete time functions. A net connect the "return" value to function parameters. I have however read there exist patents which may be a more serious problem.
