I guess a third of the work would be to write a "sym2picture" and "fp2picture" to convert the symbol and footprints to a graphical representation possible to show on screen. The second third would be to figure out where to store mapping.

I really liked the geometry/dimensioning that came with Igor2's
footprint generator.

I would be happy if there was a way to change pinnumbers in PCB
instead of via a text editor. I almost never draft in the right order
and have to go back and renumber later.
