I think it was working back then. I was on this list, and we had nice
technical conversations. I even contributed some code, and was accepted, and
checked into the master branch.

IMHO, John is not really interested in gEDA/pcb, as log as it doesn't brakes
HIS workflow. He is using other pcb tool.

Same goes for me, I thing gEDA/gaf is a perfect tool; I would not change a
bit in that code. It just works.
