Really good concrete goals, Dave.  They are quick to state, but include
much function so whoever is coding can keep checking as they go whether an idea of implementation
satisfies the overall system goal or not.

These two have simple overall needs -- that can be handled by attributes in gschem/gnetlist
and adding a way to tag drawing objects with attribs in PCB.
