freerouting uses specctra files for import/export. These are also known as 
dsn-files. Regular pcb does not include dsn import/export. 

According to this item in the archives of the old geda mailinglist Jared 
Caspar was working on a dsn plugin for pcb:

However, I was anable to locate the plugin itself. Most notably, it is not 
in Berts collection of plugins:
