Looks nice but that is a IC layout editor, I am looking for a schematic
editor.

A schematic is usually the best way to show all the major blocks in a
design and how they interconnect. You want to be able to generate your
deliverables from a schematic so that they are always in sync.

Schematic capture tools like gschem and eeschema can do small designs but
fall flat on their face with large IC designs. Large designs require
design reuse of 1000's of modules all from different designers.

Do you really think that many designers can make up 1000's of component
names and never see a name collision?

I am using IP-Xact to hold my design data in xml files. I currently have
scripts that can read these files and generate geda symbols and partial
schematics. I want to incorporate the graphics information into the xml
files and have scripts produce geda or kicad projects. Then I can use
gnetlist to read geda schematics and write out ip-xact design files.
