I guess gerbv was already the most advanced tool of the gEDA suite -- if I remember correctly, I was impressed by the panning speed and visual look. Unfortunately gerbv ist the tool which I have never really used -- I have spent hundreds of hours with gschem and PCB, maybe some minutes with gerbv... Best regards, Stefan Salewski
