  Actually I'm not.  In fact, I don't think I asked for any changes AT
ALL.  You're the one who keeps poo-pooing everything because it doesn't
look like a "modern GUI". (as if that's some sort of legitimate metric
for good software)

  In fact, everything you've been saying is contradictory.

    - gEDA is great, don't change a thing
    - ...except for that complete rewrite that I claim is needed
    - It sucks because its GUI isn't "modern"
    - But it must not be changed because I won't be able to work anymore

  Come ON.

  At least offer a list of suggestions, in specific terms, of what you
think should be done.  If that list contains a single item, "nothing",
then stop complaining about the GUI!
