This is true, but then because gattrib_csv also can also produce a BOM
the duplicate data doesn't become visible. The duplicate data doesn't
cause any problems with disk space. With the information in every
symbol, then if another instance is desired of a particular part in a
new or same design, it is just a just copy, paste, reset the refdes, and
all the distributor information is copied with it. Then when gattrib_csv
is used to generate the BOM only missing information needs to be
imported back into the schematic. Entries are only broken out to their
own row in the table if they posses an attribute exposed by the filter
that is different from an existing row. Thus one edit in a single row
in LibreOffice can update the attributes of every member of that type of
component.
