That sounds like a crazy enought ide to be tested.

One could have a few symbols that have common fracture lines, so you 
instead could put them together, and so to say get the illusion that 
you pull them apart. E.g. you could make a symbol with the subsymbols 
together, and when get it from the library, you choose to embed it. 
I'll work like you inserted all few subsymbols in one go (I think).
