This looks good, and a great idea.  Have you followed the SCL STEP output
developments?  They come from OpenSCAD and python-occ, and have changed their
name to stepcode.org starting soon.

Being able to plan and do circuit layouts in the same terms as
you design 3D objects would be truly fine.  Line up of 3D enclosure
and a circuit that folds to fit it would be easy-easy then,
and next, transferring a prototype in circuit material
to become integral with a 3D printed housing instead of separate
