I'm doing a simple proximity alarm where I use a reed switch on a circuit
board with two pieces of steel on either side to stick to a neodymium
magnet. The small circuit board will be sewn into one flap of a pouch and
the magnet to the flap. I'm using a PIC10F206 Microchip 6 pin
microcontroller to monitor the switch and chirp a small piezo buzzer. My
question is will the magnet have any affect on the operation of the
micro? It is a small magnet just a bit bigger than a penny.

Thanks
