I power cycled it, let's see how long it lasts this time.

FYI geda-project.org is an ancient ARM microserver, basically a cell
phone, running an alpha version of Fedora 15.

At one point I built up a modern VM to replace it, but most of the
services were set up by others and nobody volunteered to help me migrate
them.

gedasymbols is a different machine, and *is* a modern VM :-)
