I was going to reply but haven't gotten to it yet. You beat me to it. I ran "make check" in the gsymcheck directory as you did above and got the similar errors! This is getting weird: *********************** 501:$make check Making check in po make[1]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/po' make[1]: Nothing to be done for 'check'. make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/po' Making check in src make[1]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/src' make[1]: Nothing to be done for 'check'. make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/src' Making check in include make[1]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/include' make[1]: Nothing to be done for 'check'. make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/include' Making check in lib make[1]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/lib' make[1]: Nothing to be done for 'check'. make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/lib' Making check in docs make[1]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/docs' make[1]: Nothing to be done for 'check'. make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/docs' Making check in tests make[1]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/tests' make runtest.sh make[2]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/tests' make[2]: Nothing to be done for 'runtest.sh'. make[2]: Leaving directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/tests' make check-TESTS make[2]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/tests' make[3]: Entering directory '/home/gherr/build/geda-gaf-1.10.2/gsymcheck/tests' FAIL: buses.output FAIL: connections1.output FAIL: connections2.output FAIL: connections3.output FAIL: correct.output FAIL: duplicate_net.output FAIL: duplicate_pinnumber.output FAIL: duplicate_pinseq.output FAIL: graphical_correct.output FAIL: graphical_incorrect.output FAIL: invalid_slotdef1.output FAIL: invalid_slotdef2.output FAIL: invalid_slotdef3.output FAIL: invalid_slotdef4.output FAIL: labelinside.output FAIL: lots_of_errors.output FAIL: many_slotdefs.output FAIL: misplaced_attributes.output FAIL: missing_device.output FAIL: missing_footprint.output FAIL: missing_numslots.output FAIL: missing_pinlabel.output FAIL: missing_pinnumber.output FAIL: missing_pinseq.output FAIL: missing_slotdef.output FAIL: multiple_footprint.output FAIL: multiple_pinlabel.output FAIL: multiple_pinnumber.output FAIL: multiple_pinseq.output FAIL: multiple_pintype.output FAIL: multiple_refdes.output FAIL: nameinside.output FAIL: nets.output FAIL: noslots.output FAIL: old_symbol.output FAIL: oldpins.output FAIL: oldslot.output FAIL: pin_offgrid.output FAIL: pintypes.output FAIL: text_errors.output FAIL: typeinside.output FAIL: urefinside.output FAIL: zero_pinnumber.output FAIL: zero_pinseq.output FAIL: zero_slotnum.output FAIL: zero_slots.output ============================================================================ Testsuite summary for gEDA/gaf 1.10.2 ============================================================================ # TOTAL: 46 # PASS: 0 # SKIP: 0 # XFAIL: 0 # FAIL: 46 # XPASS: 0 # ERROR: 0 ============================================================================ See gsymcheck/tests/test-suite.log Please report to https://bugs.launchpad.net/geda ============================================================================ <snip> **************************** I don't have any configure parameters other than the usual stuff. I have yet to build as root, install and run it. Thanks. Girvin
