Agreed 100%. I'm running on a not-very-old Mint install (19.3), and I need this computer to keep working because it's one of the tools that I use to make a living. I can't just arbitrarily upgrade this package or that library for BS requirements, because that can break things, which is something that I absolutely cannot afford.
