Do I understand correctly that you want to be able to add notes to a 
schematic which are not visible in the editor window and in the printout 
but which can be viewed in some other way?

You can always add a custom invisible attribute to a component (e.g., 
comment=) and view it in the attribute editor.  Would it solve your 
problem if the value of this attribute was displayed in a tooltip?
