BT, while testing, I tried to use 2to3 on python scripts in source xorn/) and it has no complaints over most of the scripts. Is gEDA being poretd to python3 or maybe it is capable running with it now ? Quick glance hints that it could be able to run with python3.6 and higher. If so, it would be nice to know, since gEDA is one of the rare packeges that keeps python-2.7 dependency on my machine...
