Hi,

I tired Gerbview, produces errors and does load the Gerber file to a 
layer. Maybe the Gerber files are too old.

The original Designer of the PCB, GCprevue, to view the Gerber files, 
which was free, but now $50 per year.

I may have to pay the year free to convert the files.

I am just looking for an open source solution.

I am trying to move from KiCad to gEDA, as this looks a better platform. 
I have migrated most of the PCB projects to gEDA, just this one project 
to do.
