I'm doing some pcb-rnd/pcb <-> pcbnew file conversion test. Is there anyone here who knows how to run kicad v4.0.7 and v5.1.0 side by side so I can test and compare ? Currently I build and istalled kicad, footprints, libraries and the 3dthings in: /usr/local/kicad_4.0.7/ /usr/local/kicad_5.1.0/ and I can start them as /usr/local/kicad_xxx/bin/pcbnew, but they are using the same config files in ~/.config/kicad/. Is there a way I can tell them to use different configs ? Regards, /Karl Hammar
