There are a few flowcharts available in xfig: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xfig and it have better rubberbanding modes than gschem, and it has lines with arrow ends. Karl is saying xfig has rubber band modes... I guess I need to try it some...a FOSS tool for good/quick-edited flowcharts would be nice. I think the I/O pins needed by gschem for modules/blocks are too much extra work for flowchart use.
