One thing I noted in the accessory's list was the Network Vector Analyser 
at 100 USD + ship. They don't say what basic kit it works with, but 
surely the 800 USB would suffice.

Those of us who have the licenses and the knowledge to do so, are still 
trying to keep small town America's radio stations on the air. But the 
AM tower tuning is beyond our ability to do with nothing more than a 
bird meter to measure VSWR. But we need to measure, and tune at the base 
of the tower before we can hope to present a resistive 50 ohm load to 
the transmitter.  This VNA kit would give us guidance by showing us on a 
Smith chart, exactly what we need to do. And at perhaps $1000 USD, do it 
10x cheaper than buying half the planets GR(name a number) gear from 
ebay, hoping you get one that hasn't had a 1000 watt transmitter fed 
into it someplace back in the fog of time, aka 50+ years since the last 
one was made.
