Technically yes, but what will proc_a say when I start it again and its
data is wiped out by proc_b ?

You can save a session data like you do if you ever only run one
instance of the program. It might be fine with programs like kicad,
but a toolbox like programs we use here it just make no sense, just
as it would be nonsense for grep.
