The way to add parts is the same whether inside a symbol or out, so you could add a line and a circle and text.
those are all aligned some when done as a pin, and not as separate objects.  Pins are not available as a separate object from a 
symbol.

If you made a symbol for this purpose, you could use it again and again by placing it on top of other symbols.

Just take one of the terminal symbols, edit its circle to be small like the other normal pin objects  and save as another file
with .sym ending, then reuse.
