I'm fully aware of that and have in past time argued for a changes to 
resolve such conflicts.

That may be so, but it is very convenient to try out what others have 
done by simply including the whole tree. This new error check makes
that much harder. So I consider that check counterproductive. I would
be better to issue a warning if and only if you use a sym with a name
conflict, perhaps offering to copy it to project local directory.

That said, I can just use the non xorn stuff.
