Hi Evan, On Tue, 15 Aug 2017, Evan Foss (evanfoss AT gmail DOT com) [via geda-user AT delorie DOT com] wrote: > I work with someone who is trying to migrate over to gEDA and is trying > to use it on a mac. This color is not defined in gEDA/gaf, so my guess is that it's the user interface's default color, and for some reason, an area which is requested to be redrawn which gschem assumes to be unchanged has actually been filled with the default color by the toolkit. This looks like an issue with Cairo/GTK on Mac. Someone with access to Mac hardware would have to validate that this is actually the problem, and find a way to request that area not to be filled. Simply filling the area with gschem's background color won't do the trick as it would cause unwanted visual flickering; you'd have to actually prevent it from being filled with the wrong color in the first place.
