Hi all,

going on with the tEDAx idea (reminder: minimal cost exchange formats), 
I've mostly finished the footprint format specification:

I already have a working exporter in pcb-rnd and will have an importer in 
a few days probably.

PCB developers, please consider joining the effort to ensure we have a 
safe interchange format and don't risk interoperability by any change to 
our own native file formats.

(Cost: the first working exporter code costed 2.5 hours. I expect the 
importer would cost at most the double of this.)
