Subject:	[geda-user] [pcb-rnd] Improvements to parametric footprint insertion and editing
	in layouts

Improvements have been made to the pcb-rnd parametric footprint
insertion user interface.

Users continue to invoke the element insertion interface with the
usual "i" key, but can now edit parametric footprint parameters in
real time using the dialog window.

This is in addition to being able to select footprints from the local
filesystem.

Footprints can also be retrieved from a supported web resource, such
as gedasymbols.org, if specified in the preferences. This feature may
also be of use to those running multiple designer seats with a
centralized, in-house footprint repository.

Of particular note, parametric footprint descriptors can be specified
in the footprint attribute field in the schematic editor, to have
pcb-rnd automatically create the element when loading the netlist for
the layout.

i.e. for gschem, a simple example would be the following attribute for
a resistor:

footprint=acy(300)
