Minimal supported version is > Ubuntu Vivid (Guile 2.0.11). A quick note that Lepton EDA _does_ run on Ubuntu Trusty (14.04), and we do CI builds to ensure that that remains the case. Also, it's fully backward-compatible with geda-gaf 1.9.2, and we plan to keep it that way. git clone https://github.com/lepton-eda/lepton-eda The one caveat is that the gnetlist testsuite uses the SRFI-64 unit testing library that's only present in newer versions of Guile. So you'll be able to compile and run Lepton with Guile 2.0.9 without any problems, but you won't be able to run some of the tests [1]. Peter [1] Our CI builds do some setup work to install this library. -- Dr Peter Brett <peter AT peter-b DOT co DOT uk>
