I think it=92s good to have parallel functionality:
1. Xorn gives those a place for those who won=92t use Scheme to =
contribute. There is no longer any reason to complain that we=92re =
forcing Scheme on people.
2. Xorn is free of the requirement for backward compatibility.

Unsupported and unused bitrot needs removing, regardless of language, =
but Roland is supporting Xorn. There=92s constant conflict here between =
=93we need more development=94 and =93this is production software, don=92t=
break it=94. Xorn is potentially a way to relieve that conflict.
However, I have to ask if Xorn has a user base? Is anyone doing projects =
with it? Is anyone scripting it? Roland has tried to recruit me, but I=92m=
heavily invested in gnetlist and Scheme, and they are getting the jobs =
done. I=92m not a natural user until Xorn goes someplace useful to me =
that gnetlist can=92t. So far, though, it=92s just an unfamiliar way to =
do the things that gnetlist does. That=92s not enough.
