there are two supported ways of running pcb-rnd:

1. from source:

cd src; ./pcb-rnd

2. from installation

make install
pcb-rnd (from any dir you want)


(There are plans to make the executable contain a fallback of default.pcb 
and all other config/data files so if you take the executable, copy it 
anywhere even on a fresh system it would run, but we are not yet there.)
