With tools like this available, it would make sense to design a test circuit that has a simple stripline at each end that coax can be soldered to and then compare one to another to get a fine tuned speed difference measured from which you can extract the dielectric constant of the particular FR4 so you save money and utilize your fab better. The results from different fabs could be shared then. I'd love to spend a week or two on gnucap verilog netlist integration, but I'm still inexperienced in C++ and have to keep working on income generation for a few more months before I could.
