Yes.

Now I am looking at rc files to remove references to nonexisting scheme scripts...
Took everything out of this:    /home/john/.gEDA/gafrc

  sudo find /etc -name '*gschemrc'
   581  14/07/16 10:30:38 sudo find ~ -name '*gschemrc'
   582  14/07/16 10:30:51 sudo find /usr/ -name '*gafrc'
   583  14/07/16 10:32:00 sudo gvim /usr/local/share/gEDA/system-gafrc
   584  14/07/16 10:32:59 sudo find /usr/ -name '*gafrc*'
  sudo find /etc -name '*gschemrc'
sudo find /etc -name '*gafrc*'


I'm stalled -- can't think of any more.
