Hi all, I'm about 3/4 done with the new config system in pcb-rnd. I decided to write the documentation and advertise the link to potentially get some constructive feedback. The introduction is at http://repo.hu/projects/pcb-rnd/conf/ The user documentation is at http://repo.hu/projects/pcb-rnd/conf/index_user.html The documentation is not finished yet, most notably the programmer's part is still missing (it's a known bug). Later on I plan a second RFC go excusively on the "project file" topic, once I have the doc text for that. Thus, in this thread I'd preferrably skip the discussion about whether project files are evil or not. I am especially interested in use cases the above system can not cover. TIA, Igor2 (As usual: nothing proposed for mainline pcb or geda/gaf/gschem)
