c. sometimes, rarely
The main reason I'm not using the lesstif HID is that the library window
doesn't perform well with a hierarchical directory layout, and that layer
grouping is somewhat cumbersome. Also, it would help if I could run the
lesstif HID by specifying a command-line option without having to
recompile PCB.
In principle, I'd rather use the lesstif HID (it is more responsive and
has a nicer look on my machine), but I don't care enough to fix these
things myself.

a. yes, I'd give each variant a try before deciding which one to use
It would be nice to be able to switch gschem and PCB keyboard mappings
between:
- as before
- gschem hotkeys for PCB, too
- Emacs-style hotkeys
- Windows-style hotkeys

c. never, I know where I'd perform the changes if I ever needed them but
defalts are good enough for now
I don't use PCB frequently enough to really have cared about that yet.
Also, since many PCB menus are lists and I don't like hotkeys like C-S-7,
I use tear-off menus more often than hotkeys.

a. yes, I'd prefer to use them over modifiers (ctrl, alt, shift)
I'd like to be able to configure the same hotkeys as in gschem.
Also, I generally prefer “serial” to “parallel” hotkeys because they
require less finger acrobatics. It's just more ergonomic for me to type
"f s" than to hold down the control key while typing "s". The difference
isn't large, but it's large enough for me to really miss this feature in
some applications I regularly use.
