I got it - other than expected :-o While copying line-by-line into a fresh file and gsymchecking - I stumbled over a line with a 'big-letter-V' instead of a 'small-letter-v' and the parser tried this line as Circle elements instead of the version information.. So, the reason for failing symbol parsing was the first line with the version information, which I checked at last. Just a bit-flipping error :-{ Thanks for all your help! -- "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Benjamin Franklin (1775)
