I've also just found that pcb overwrites the ~/.pcb/preferences file on
exit, every time, omitting ALL the DRC settings. This happens whether i
open pcb with no file, or open it on an existing file. ?!?!?

However, all my pcb projects which I keep in separate folders, do seem
to retain DRC settings from session to session; the .pcb file has a line
near the top that goes like:

DRC[800 800 800 800 1500 800]

So, I still don't understand how to make DRC settings persist from one
project to another. I'd like to set them globally, so that all new pcb
files start with the global settings.

Thanks
Matt
