Then I want to ask you think about group together a bunch of the ordinary drawing primitives and call it a: connection point, pad stack, pin or in this case a via? Do it need a new file format? Or could it be done with current file format maybe treated similar as a footprint?

Since something new should be started this could be a good point to start and if works there are further advantages for other use cases. I expect to have some time contribute on a rather regular basis from now on.

As far as I cant tell "PCB preferences" put the layers in order so I guess it now about order.
