However, this ... I had a quick look at geda-gaf/src/xorn and I concluded it will take me more than a few hours to understand it. So I'm thinking that what I can provide right now is by getting ideas for scripting, like the archiver thing, implement it in scheme for the current system, in python for xorn, and using ad hoc tools. Partly to compare, and partly to see what's missing in resp. toolchest, perhaps driving the api.
