That is wery true and I have the same problem here, how do I make 1.8 
and 2.0 exist side by side, which should be a solved problem.

But that is a problem with guile, not the scheme language.
Lilypond users don't have any problem with the language in their mind,
but yes we have a big problem with the implementation.
