What I want is a way to reliably map an instance of a device with its
schematic symbol, without the user having to jump through hoops to
satisfy some hidden "rule" about how to create schematics.
I've come up with some ideas, and have been trying to work through all
the user assumptions and options to see if they'll work, and all
you've done so far is bash my ideas.
Please be more positive. Come up with an alternative that works.
