Or not (you don=92t usually need a resistor model). Or more, for example =
describing in detail how symbol pins connect to model ports.

It=92s gnetlist=92s responsibility to export. So, you need a gnetlist =
back end.

For ngspice, I typically make a gschem schematic with drivers and =
probes. In extreme cases, I=92ll write a little program in whatever =
language I feel like on the day in question to generate PWL sources for =
stimulus.

So, the question becomes, what=92s the qucs netlist format? Roland and I =
could have a race ;-)
The advantage of using gschem, of course, is that you can then take the =
schematic and re-export it for layout. This didn=92t work very well with =
the original spice back end. With spice-sdb, it was better, but there =
were still problems. With https://github.com/noqsi/gnet-spice-noqsi it=92s=
practical and reliable, I do it routinely.
Note that gnet-spice-noqsi is one of those notorious =93inactive=94 =
projects. It just works. Oh, there are a few things I=92ve thought of =
that might be nice, but their lack doesn=92t cause me enough trouble to =
motivate me to change it.
