One criticism that came up was that it has many tables of connector =
pins. The test engineers find these useful, but the reviewer was =
concerned that maintaining and checking the consistency of the tables =
with the design was a serious burden on the project. With an EDA tool, =
it would be. But gEDA is a toolkit, not a tool, and it plays well with =
other toolkits. So, the answer I gave was =93I generate the tables and =
the netlists automatically from the same design data.=94 That was the =
end of the issue.
