Furthermore, trace width might come into SPICE in a calculation of derived electrical properties. Your imagination skips too quickly into a short cut to a pcb application. But geda-gaf’s greatness is comes partly from the fact that there are few such short cuts in it (see my comment of Viewlogic earlier today).
