Fine that at least one beside me prefers that too. For Peted I tried to allow this -- not dockable, but with gtk-paned and notetboiks/tabs. So when you click on an element, you see its properties and can modify it when desired, and the same visible properties apply when you create new elements. Problem is, how it may work for multiple selected elements. We may select a line and a rectangle, both have property color, but only rectangle has width and height. So some sort of filtering of properties may be useful when multiple elements are selected. Not difficult, but may take some hours to get working. I think I will let that for a later release, it is not such useful at all...
