I ended up not to copy/paste but delete the tracks on top and bottom in a temporary copy of the layout. Then I checked and corrected for the more restrictive design rules in the inner layers. And finally I replaced the content of the mid layers in the original layout. To make this less of a hassle, I wrote a little awk script which did the delete-copy-paste-business. ---<)kaimartin(>--- -- Kai-Martin Knaak tel: +49-511-762-2895 Universität Hannover, Inst. für Quantenoptik fax: +49-511-762-2211 Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover http://www.iqo.uni-hannover.de GPG key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?search=Knaak+kmk&op=get
