I was laying out a board and changed pinouts of a connector in its
footprint file.  I saved the footprint, deleted the connector in PCB and
saved the layout, did a gsch2pcb which instructs me to load layout data to
paste buffer but when I tried to load the layout data to the paste buffer
the missing connector does not show.

How can I troubleshoot what is wrong?
