--f46d0438933f43ccd604f71b484d Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 No - I have not, but I do have a 5A (20A inrush if not limited) current monitoring problem coming up, and another idea kicking around for an active load where I'd need to monitor about 5A or so with minimal influence on a 4 Ohm nominal speaker load. So I'm interesting in what happens here. I was planning to use an ACS712ELCTR-20A-T (it's 6.3VAC sitting about 100V above ground - so that fancy doodad kills a couple birds with one stone) but it's also somewhat spendy. How about something like DigiKey 408-1615-2-ND - 5m Ohm, 3W, 2512W, that should take care of your SMT issue. (When I saw TO220 I figured you were looking for a through hole device).
