When I try to reconnect I get the > same results. Sorry, I think my explaining lacks an essential point. You should not just enable the resnap mode. You have to _manually_ align ends of your pins (and perhaps other objects) to the grid. See a more clear explaining why it is so at http://wiki.geda-project.org/geda:gschem_ug:grids
