For a big connector, my symbol is usually a box with no pins at all, but =
with the necessary attributes like device=3D, footprint=3D, etc. I'll =
place it at the end of a bus, to make it clear to the reader  what it =
serves. Then I'll use pins2gsch =

a pseudo-schematic that handles the pin assignments. I find a tabular =
representation much easier to read than a tangle of spaghetti.
