--001a11c29f4c5c963a04eaa23cf2 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Hello, I'm trying to start on the multi sheet and hierarchical features of gEDA. Here's what I have done so far. 1. Created a symbol with one input and one output pin. Has a refdes, source, graphical and device attribute. Source points to the name of schematic. 2. Created a schematic with the same name as sym. Has one input (in-1.sym) pin and one output pin (out-1.sym). 3. the names of input pins in both sym and sch are same and this is same with the output pin. 4. Checked the symbol with gsymcheck. It warns about numslots and source not being there. Warning: Found unknown source= attribute: [source=oc_driver.sch] Did I miss anything? After I insert the symbol into a top level schematic, I can't go down schematic. When I switch to PCB, and import schematic, I see the footprints of components used in the sub-schematic. What could I be doing wrong? Thanks. --001a11c29f4c5c963a04eaa23cf2 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div><div><div><div><div><div>Hello,<br><br></div>I'm = trying to start on the multi sheet and hierarchical features of gEDA.
